🕉️ *ಪೂಜೆಯ ವಿಧಗಳು – Types of worship* 🕉️
प्रथमा प्रतिमा पूजा,
जप स्तोत्रादि मध्यमा |
उत्तमा मानसि पूजा,
सोहं भावः उत्तमोत्तमा ||
ಪ್ರಥಮಾ ಪ್ರತಿಮಾ ಪೂಜಾ, ಜಪಸ್ತೋತ್ರಾಣಿ ಮಧ್ಯಮಾ |
ಉತ್ತಮಾ ಮಾನಸೀ ಪೂಜಾ,
ಸೋಹಂ ಪೂಜೋತ್ತಮೋತ್ತಮಾ ||
ಅಂದರೆ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರ್ತಿಪೂಜೆ, ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂತ್ರ-ಜಪ, ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಪಾರಾಯಣ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಮೂರನೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ಯಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ-ಮಾನಸ ಪೂಜೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತಿಮವಾದ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಹಂ ಭಾವನೆ ಅಂದರೆ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು–ಇವು ಪೂಜೆಯ ಹಂತಗಳು.
Worshipping the idol is the first step. Better than this is repetition of the holy names or chanting holy verses. Better still is contemplation and the last and highest state is to realize, "I am He".

Bhakti (devotion) begins with worshiping an Idol. Japa, Stotra(muttering prayer and chanting mantras) is medium. Best type of Devotion is to worship God in Mind and
Experiencing God in Self (considering one Self as God because God is present in everyone) is the Superior most form of Worship/Bhakti.
